21 February 2005

Hello, to anyone who will read this. I am totally realistic about what I am facing. I never seem to have the time to do all the things I need to do. But I also seem to complain about the same thing every time I start to blog. So to paraphrase John Bunyan in 'Pilgrim's Progress', I'm leaving the slough of despond behind.

I am sitting here at my desk, working next to Gail, as she tries to scan and file attach some documents for me. She goes through so much to do even the smallest of tasks. She is just now learning RTF scanfax programs, and it is not easy, and she knows more than I do. I sit here, with a prayer on my lips, and gratitude for a giving and persevering wife. I hope to see our future improve to the point that she will believe that our later prosperity will have been worth the struggles we have had for many years.

I am going to go to another strategy in working at this blog each day. First, I am going to do it each day, sometimes twice in one day. I'll also be into the online communities more. I will need to. I was appointed an ambassador, I need to fulfill my call. I will also be adding lots more links on the blog. I hope that they will complement what I do.

I found a blog by a man named Mark D. Roberts. He is the leader of a Christian community in Irvine, California. He has some really good commentary on 'The DaVinci Code.' Especially good is what he wrote on the argument, brought up in 'The Code', that Jesus was actually married to Mary Magdalene, and that he had kids, and that the notion that he was divine was not actually accepted by the early Christian church until about 325 A.D. I'll post the links tomorrow.

Well, I have to go for now. I'll be back though. I promise. Bye for now.
