There and back again...no this is not Bilbo Baggins.

Well, just like I said, I'm back here writing in this blog like I promised, every single day, right? Oh brother, and nine days went by through accident! I am really tired of not being able to keep to a schedule. But enough of useless complaining, I will just start again, now.

This is one of the moments that I look back over a long period of time, and see struggle and disappointment. The faith of a Christian does not avoid failure, shame, regrets, and pain. What it does is grant the power to overcome these things. So, I am still standing. Impoverished, broken, perplexed, watching the pain of a loved one's loss of opportunity to ever pursue her gift of music, as age takes us closer to the point of no return, where there is no more ability to hope for a better future. None, except for the fact that we do worship a God of miracles. Christians are accused of using faith as a crutch. Well, it's better to walk with a crutch than to have my pride really destroyed by lying face down in the mud, unable to walk with a broken leg (proverbially speaking).

Beginning today, I will carry Christmas in my heart, as Charles Dickens A Chrismas Carol 's character Ebenezer Scrooge said in his repentance of his heartless character. I have come to despise everything about this holiday season. What is most heartbreaking is the actions of those who espouse political correctness and frankly, Marxist humanism, doing everything they can to destroy the holiday for the 90%+ of Americans who still celebrate Christmas. Even now, wishing people "Merry Christmas" gets some employees in trouble with their hypersensitive employees. I think that, with maybe a couple of exceptions, when I give the traditional greetings in stores, the clerks either mumble "you too" under their painted smiles, or they give one of those sick generic phrases "Season's Greetings" or, worst of all, "Happy Holidays"(I won't dignify them as holidays). It is sick what I have heard imposed by employers, school principals, or government officials this year, as in the last few years. You can't even have nativity scenes shown in public schools and public buildings in New York City, but you can have Jewish menorahs, Muslim crescents, and even winter solstice emblems. There are some who would just take the faith that made America into America, and drain it out like blood through a catheter.

The nice thing is how many more people have stood up and got into the faces of these gutless clowns, and made them back down. Even though people have had to get their lawyers busy on their behalf, it seems like a counter-revolution is quietly gaining steam, almost by the day. The recent victory in the presidential election meant more than anyone will ever realize. I believe that history will show that it was the high water mark for secular humanism, and that, in spite of their best efforts, they will never again attain power in this Republic. These days, saying "Merry Christmas" is the act of a revolutionary. So put the Che Guevara beret on my head and the cartridges across my chest....."MERRY CHRISTMAS! GOD BLESS US! GOD BLESS US, EVERY ONE!"

There is more to say, but for heaven's sake, it's almost 4 a.m.! So, off to bed I go. I will be loading links tomorrow. God bless.

But I will carry Christmas in my heart. But not
